Well, here it is Feburary.... well, almost halfway through. Things haven't changed too much. I'm still stuck babysitting for our neighbor (she babysits for us) whose kid is ALWAYS sick. I swear not a week goes by with him healthy. Anyway, Jacob is almost standing by himself. He can pull it off for about a half-second. He's also starting to get his first tooth. He hasn't been the happiest of kid lately because of it. I can't wait until it's out. he can start eating the cherios that my sister keeps giving me for him. (we have about 6 boxes already with the promise of more).
Scott's almost through with school. He just has this semester left and I can't wait until he's done. (for many different reasons) The main reason being he'll be happier and less stressed. Another is he can get an actual full time job instead of this crappy one where you don't know IF you'll even have it tomorrow.
The best part is we might be able to move out of this apartment! I know we just moved 6 months ago, but we have a very annoying neighbor. her kids' room is right next to ours and lets just say 1) paper thin walls, 2)kids with a late bedtime who don't want to sleep and 3) work at 6:00 do NOT mix. All well... soon enough it will be over.

Update.
Well, what can I say about the last....well over four months? Jacob was born August 10th and 10:08 in the morning. I called it. My mom was saying it would be on 08/08/08 and my mother in law was saying it would be 08/09, scott's birthday. I kept saying he'd come a day later than all of them, just because they wanted him to come then. (HA! mom really does know best!)
Anyway, He's be both a pain and a blessing. He's really an overall great kid (sleeps through the night...mostly, rarely cries unless he's hungary, ect.) but lately we think he's starting to teeth.....not fun. Also, he has had it in his head for months that he has to be standing at every moment. (I'm not kidding, from about three weeks on, he refuses to sit or lay down) We finally fixed that problem over Christmas by getting him a walker. I was starting to get muscles in my arms though.
I'm still going to school. I start full time on monday. I'm not likeing the babysitting situation though. I'm getting jipped. I'm babysitting for 15 hours to the other girl's 5. All well, I'm just going to tell her that I need to be paid for those ten extra hours. I wouldn't be so mad if it wasn't for two things. 1) this is what happened last semester and she refused to ever realize how uneven it was and 2) it's THAT big of a difference. All well, life goes on.

Life as I know it.
Well, here it is....another day. Things are actually very calm right now. We finally got the car fixed (WE HAVE AIR CONDITIONING NOW!!!!! YAY!!!!) But now the truck is leaking transmission fluid so I'm STILL without a vehicle while Scott takes the car to work. All well... it happens.
I've also been deep cleaning our already-cleaned apartment...again. I'm soooo bored that I've cleaned every closet, cubbard and drawer at least twice....and rearranged furniture in every room at least once. I need a hobby. I've tried sewing...hahaha. Any other ideas?
Anyway, I'm now sitting here writing while my husband reads over my shoulder and tries to figure out how to get to my blog to read it... VERY entertaining. I love this game. Keep one thing somewhat private from him and watch him go crazy! All well... I guess I'll be the loving wife and show him how after I'm through writing this.
Hope everythings going good for you.

Summer Blues
Well, here it is the last day of June, not even half way through the summer and I can't wait for it to end. It's so HOT and muggy outside I can't even stand it. To top it off, I can't even really go anywhere. Our car doesn't have air conditioning and we just found out it overheats on the half hour drive to St. George! There goes all of my plans of what I want to do on my birthday.
Then there is this whole being pregnant thing. It's made this past week VERY.... exciting. We've ended up making a couple trips to the hospital. The first time was for back pain....not too bad, but enough to cause concern of contractions. They said I was having some, but not enough to frett about, gave about a gallon of morphine and told me to come back if the pain got worse. Saturday afternoon, it did. We went back. Turns out that I was having contractions at the rate of about one ever minute and a half, but I was only dialated to a one. The contractions are not labor related (however THAT works.) They then told me that the back pain might be kidney or galbladder stones. So much fun. Because of all this fun my husband has been watching my every move when he's home and I also earned myself a days worth of bedrest. Oh goodie. I can't wait until this kid is born and life can quit being so....so.... tradgic. All well... life hopefully will be calmer this week.

boredom and stress
Well, what can I say today. Life has gotten VERY borring. School is out and I've quit my job for the summer. That leaves me sitting around the house all day. It was fine for a few days while I got things organized from our move, but now... I AM SO BORED!!!! To top it off, my only real friend in Cedar City is about to have her baby anyday now so she really can't go and do anything. If you know any ways to break the boredom while everyone is at work, I'd love to hear it.
Anyway, to end my complaining.... Scott started his new job. He seems to like it. He's bored also with it, but still, it's better than his old job. He's also been taking a Maymester class which has been about miserable for him. a full semester class in 15 days.... I don't blaim him for hating it. That class ended on Friday though. He now has another class which should be clamer for him. It's over...5 weeks and it's only three days a week. He'll actually have a chance to breathe.
Well.. that's my life up to this point. hopefully all of you are doing fine.

moving and stress.
Well, things are going... I guess you could say well. We're moving tomorrow to a two bedroom apartment so I'm spending today packing and cleaning while Scott is at work and in class. I still have a TON to do, but I'm tired (I mean, I haven't taken a break for 4 hours so far.) so I think I'm gonna take a nap or something until laundry is done.
Scott had his first test in his Maymester class today. He is stressed out about this class. It meets only fifteen times (5 days a week for 3 weeks) and has four tests. Not to mention that yesterday the professor told them that they were already done with about a month's worth of material. I don't blaim him one bit for being stressed. Any ideas to help him calm down? I've tried everything I can think of, but so far this week nothing has worked.
